I haven't the inclincation to be a MySpace-er or a Facebook-er so IQONS serves my needs perfectly. I can't harp on about IQONS enough so much so I might as well wear a sandwich board promoting it. One of the IQONS projects which I've been thinking about taking part in is the 'You Wear it Well/Got a Minute?' video project. If you're an avid followed of Diane Pernet's blog A Shaded View On Fashion, you'll know all about the You Wear It Well fashion film festival which has been making its way around the world and is now in its second edition. In collaboration with IQONS, Diane Pernet and Dino Dinco have created 'You Wear it Well/Got a minute?' whereby any IQONS member can submit a 60 second film that is fashion/style related. A winner will be chosen every month to be shown on the IQONS home page everyday.
I've been toying with the idea of making a contribution but looking at the entries (you can view and rate the entries), I'm a little cowered. In particular, I love the two entries by Marie Kristiansen (not much on her IQONS profile page so I don't know too much about her). It's all a little whimsical and absurd but very pretty at the same time. Now I'm just considering whether I have the chops to come up with something half as good...
