£5 'it' bags? Whatever next. As expected the Anya Hindmarch charity 'I'm not a plastic bag' was sold out at stores within hours and the one online stockist also crashed due to the overwhelming demand. UK people will now have to wait until the 25th April to scour the supermarket Sainsbury's for it.
However, I somehow feel the message of the bag is being lost. There are canvas bags a-plenty, other than the Anya Hindmarch one and I pick them up willy nilly at all sorts of random places because they ARE so damn useful. Groceries, books, my various outfit changes in the day and also stuffing my buys of the day seeing as I hate the way plastic bags leave marks on my arms. Kingdom of Style suggested some lux alternatives to the bargainous Anya Hindmarch one but I'm still in thrifty-mode (payday hasn't knocked on my door yet...) so it's Etsy, my favourite hunting ground, to the rescue!
