It's a non sticky cupcake collection

Israel gets its first mention on Style Bubble (I verified that with Google..) and if i'm honest, were it not for the fact that Iluchka had linked to me through her site, I'd never have known about the store in Tel Aviv, opened up by Ilana Bronstein.  Heavy dosages of prettiness and what I have now termed 'Lulaism' (after the mag of course...) can be worrying.  Stuck in a particular design vernacular and how can you develop and move forward (Erin Fetherston illustrating this perfectly....)?  That isn't the case with Iluchka even if at first site, the pretty pretty frocks, the pastel colours and her latest SS08 collection is called...'Fairy Tale'.  Fairy fair enough... there are aspects of what you would expect.... pale pinks, sheer fabrics, ruffles but added to that expected formula are tiny influences from Russian folkloric costumes and designs with a bit of a kick behind them.  I also love the way she presents her collectionas online as a multimedia experience and it's a joy looking back at her past collections.

Oh, and I'm now thinking that if you combed the whole world  over, every single city/small town has its own fashion hub going on that is worth investigating... gives me much food for thought for my future travel plans...

Oh my god i love this collection it so pretty the fabrics etc, i also love the photography says it all!

i know i should focus on the clothes (that blue skirt!) it's all the color and contrast of colors that stir my imagination!

I agree with Danny Daily that blue skirt! I usually don't like when buttons go all the way down dresses or skirts, but the blue and black skirts are done perfectly. I also wood nymph-y styling in must of the pictures.

Pretty colors.

The white dress with the floral-print panel on the shoulders and the lace collar is so pretty! I like the feeling of youth and playfulness emanating from the photographs.

beautiful collection! i really love the embroidered orange and white thing... pretty pretty

i know what you mean about lula-ism, but i think prettiness is important to explore.

I love the ruffly blue top and dress; that's definitely something I would (attempt to) wear.

Israel has come on leaps and bounds style-wise in the last few years. And Tel-Aviv is the most amazing city to go out in. If you do decide to visit please let me climb in your suitcase - I'm an excellent guide!

I love all things whimsy and the clothes here are like my dream clothes..

oh man. the overall visual presentation makes me want to lick my laptop screen (in a non-creepy way, lol).

The colours make my literal and figurative tastebuds zing! very wearable pieces too!

i love the second last dress with the red panel at the back

There is something decidedly un-saccharine about these looks. Just sweet enough.

I am officially on the lookout for my ultimate black dress, and I am seriously lusting after the black one here, however have a feeling that it makes such a great impact because the nude panel matches the skin tone of the model and I am much browner than her. Sigh. Onwards!

Thank you. Part of the reason I do Fashion Me Fabulous is because I think the idea that fashion only exists in big cities is crap. Better access to good shopping does not automatically determine stylishness.

i keep looking at the shoes.. or are they strapless wedges.. or maybe they're just wooden blocks.

What an amazing collection--there's something perfectly 20s *and* 30s to it. & the colors are just sweet.
