Cinematic

When I got my new Slow and Steady Wins the Race sunglasses from Stand Up Comedy, I could not resist the black and white image play...

Sswtrg

...or the urge to draw a moustache on my face.  Guess that's the sort of shenanigans that these glasses are bound to bring out...

haha Susie you totally rocked the moustache!

Too funny! They remind me of 3-d movie glasses. Very cute!

daaaang, those are fantastica! perfect clothes surrounding the glasses, too.

those glasses are brilliant, the perfect balance between funny and chic! and is it wrong that you look so good with a moustache?! thank you, susie, for making fashion fun.

WOW

i love it. as i always do. all your clothes are soo AMAZING. im soo jealouse i think i may hate u a wee bit if i dont love u so much.

marry me???
just kidding
or am i.....

-.-

LOVE the moustache! i'm fighting the urge to sport one tonight... must put down the eyeliner!
the glasses are just pure amazing-ness

You are too fun! Those glasses are rad. They work especially well with the black and white pics.

Ooh, I love those sunglasses so much. The photos are pretty cool too. Appeals to the part of me that wants to be a comic book hero.

how is it that you still manage to look impossibly chic with a moustache? unreal!

SSWR--i need to run over to opening ceremony this weekend. it looks lovely on you.

you need a top hat.

love,

danny

How wrong is it that you can rock that look?? Truly fabulous and the moustache is more chic on you than on Frida Kahlo!

AWESOME glasses! I hope you're prepared for people staring!

I am an absolute freak when it comes to leggings...tell me, where'd you get those, susie?!

i love props that make you do crazy things - its like they have a personality of their own. so much fun can be had. xf

love it. those glasses are awesome!! they remind me of those really old cartoons in black and white for some reason....but i love the pic. with the moustache!!!

ooh those sunglasses are wicked!!

Love it...maybe my favourite images you've ever posted. The leggings look amazing in the photo too

The other day I was dreading going to the office and having another boring day. I concluded that I could at least make the day interesting by drawing a mustache on my face.

Ha ha, you clearly had fun taking these photos. Those sunglasses are insane but you look great in them!

I respect a girl with a moustache. Next time a Alaia dress and a full beard? I hope so.

Loving your lace too!
Becky.

Susie you are my favorite mustachioed blogger... and you also have amazing leggings!

You know you've got it goin' on, girl. Rocking that black and white. I'm totally living vicariously through you!

LOVE these photos!! You know how magazines always have sections in the beginning with random, semi-irrelevant quotes from their staff alongside an equally random photo - this would totally be yours.

I just found your weblog and saw this post and I love it. A really cool outfit and I am in love with those sunglasses.

those sunglasses are so great! i've been drooling over them for months. i would have jumped on them by now but i have a wide face and most sunglasses just don't work. now that you have them in your hands do you think they could suit a wider face?

Absolutely wonderful! LOVE the moustache! isn't androgyny a wonderous thing?

hey your outfit is grand! i was wondering if you could tell me what brand and where you brought your necklace from, i saw it in the post where you dressed as a school girl and am in love with it! thank youu

Ah forgot to list credits...Jacket by Karl Lagerfeld for H&M, Forever 21 collar, vintage lace slip skirt, necklace by Husam el Odeh/Marios Schwab for Topshop (think these are sold out now Kristen...), leggings by an unknown brand (all I know is I bought them from Concrete London...), shoes from a cheapie Camden Shop (again, name escapes me...).

A moustache really does make the day.... I'd urge more ppl to don one!

ha ha! Love the moustache! I also love those leggings... they remind me of candy canes. Fabulous outfit! :)

Cool glasses! Your pics are really nice!

you look ADORABLE in those glasses! i love the round shape...

Ohh, love these! And I haven't seen them anywhere else, you're always an original, Susie! :)

Cinematic is right, the glasses and moustache need to appear in a short film with 60's New Wave styling.

Moustaches for all!

Those glasses suit you so well.

mary-kate olsen is wearing those sunglasses in the july issue of american elle, I think!

Those glasses are *amazing*, omg, so jealous right now

Love these. & with the swirls and shapes, they make me think Picasso or Man Ray would have loved it.

high five. yay. arent those sunnies just hot. amazing. how funny is that. we've got the same pair just last week. love the hinged ones too. nuts and bolts.

Fantastic glasses and great, playful photos!

ew. what are you attempting?!

I'm glad you didn't resist. I love this!

Uiiii! I like this! You are always so inventive and really the best model and stylist of all, LOVE it!! Now, let's go see a movie :-)

Archive Notes

  • As I post so frequently, the archive is organised by week but this blog has been up and running since March 2006 so if you want to read from the ye olde beginning, just keep going back through the weeks or alternatively, go through the archives via Category.

  • It's back to ol' YouTube vids then... I'm obsessed with this track by Miike Snow... a little disturbed that these are the same guys who came up with Britney's Toxic...
