unknowingly googling your own blog - that's when you know you've hit the bigtime!

i must say some of these are probably the most realistic trompe d'oeil i've ever seen. quite amazing.

I really like the deconstructed waistcoat print on the top right and the Fair Isle effects.

On a totally different note, the ALEXANDER WANG gear is available now from www.uniqlo.co.uk in advance of it's appearance in the shops.

I have just made my purchases and thought I'd let you know there is 20% off all purchases if you enter the following code at checkout: 20promotion (There's another deal offering free delivery on orders over £50 but skip this as you can only use one code at a time and 20% off a £50 purchase beats free delivery). Happy Shopping!Natmonster

oooooh, i looove those pieces!

I'm loving these printed t-shirts/dresses. I think the open jackets and waitcoats work best, as the printed knits etc look a little too much like the real thing (although that could be the point!) A male friend of mine was actually waering a similar thing on sunday evening, but stupidly I didn't ask where he got his from! Do you know if they do a mens range?

Shame about the Clinton Lotter show Susie...if his collection didn't look good on the catwalk it doesn't fill me with confidence. A talented photographer perhaps? Cx

interesting concept

I love how realistic the jackets and waistcoats look... they are not perfectly aligned so it looks like it has movement.. Brilliant!

These are so cool to look at- I love the camisole-printed top and dress too!

That's a funny story—finding your own post on this company.

I see why you wrote about them, the stuff is great.

ha, funny! nice validation of your taste, yes?
love the fair isle, dresses, and tanks.

I love the motorcycle jacket one!
Do you know if this label is available in stores or just online?

very interesting designs. Glad you wrote it again....

What a great concept! That Fair Isle sweater vibe is suddenly chic when turned inside-out!

I first saw their stuff in the gift shop at the V&A when the Surrealism exhibit was there...I have the one in the upper right corner.

my my my. I've been in love with this label for a while now! I think it's so neat how the way they print things and they look so realistic with the wrinkles and folds. Just way too expensive.

Oh man, these are so cool. I totally need to have that long sleeve/leather jacket thingamajig in my closet.

it is a cool idea. i wouldn't mind having the leather jacket one. if anything would be a great conversation piece :)

saw these in Colette !in Paris...went back to buy one of the shirt, t-shirts , and they had sold out. I spoke to someone in the shop , who had also asked about them . I managed to get a
website address that is apparently opening
in November and will be selling the complete range online - www.projectshowroomno5.com

I can,t wait!(I,ve tried it but nothing comes up as yet ???)

just been on insideout new site
www. projectshowroomno5.com they have some cool printed tees and scarves, the only thing is i can't make a choice, i just want it all!

Check it out! its really worth a look!

Archive Notes

  • As I post so frequently, the archive is organised by week but this blog has been up and running since March 2006 so if you want to read from the ye olde beginning, just keep going back through the weeks or alternatively, go through the archives via Category.

  • It's back to ol' YouTube vids then... I'm obsessed with this track by Miike Snow... a little disturbed that these are the same guys who came up with Britney's Toxic...
