The results of a Zorse...

Remember Eclyse, the very special Zorse born in Germany last year?  Emma Cook must have been touched by the  romantic story of Eclyse's mother Eclipse, a horse who met a rugged Zebra called Ulysses on holiday and came back to give birth to Eclyse, because for her latest Topshop colleciton, she has come up with a  print that has horse and zebra galloping along merrily amongst stripy waves.

The collection goes on sale on the 4th April and if the print is a little full on for some (not everyone is going to be touched by the Zorse romance...), more subtle dresses incorporating Emma Cook's signature leaf applique are also available.  For me though, I see the shirt dress as an easier way of wearing 'animal' print....  and of course, one of my life missions is to see the unbelieably cute Eclyse in real life so it stands to reason that I wear a shirt that is proud of Eclyse' parentage.

Although I have a thing for "animal jewelry" I don't wear animal prints at all.
The one shouldered dress is gorgeous, I want it, hope it will be available online
:-)

Ah I like it a lot, particularly the ones with the zebra print.Really interesting...

Almost no one stocks emma cook in the states...

As much as I like the dresses this is the first time I ever hear of, let along seen a "zorse"! An OMG moment.

ah i'd love to wear one of those dresses.. zebras, horses and stripes seem so random yet so, so right!

awwww, that 'Zorse' is so cute! I love the inspired clothes.

I actually like that one shouldered dress and that's very unlike me.

Archive Notes

  • As I post so frequently, the archive is organised by week but this blog has been up and running since March 2006 so if you want to read from the ye olde beginning, just keep going back through the weeks or alternatively, go through the archives via Category.

  • It's back to ol' YouTube vids then... I'm obsessed with this track by Miike Snow... a little disturbed that these are the same guys who came up with Britney's Toxic...
