Oh...it was the Mi-Zo that made the Scholls
Remember how I was marvelling how I could be floored by an ad featuring some Scholl shoes designed by Diego Dolcini. Well I can now breathe a sigh of relief that a big part of the reason why I was floored was down to the fact that Zoren Gold and Minori aka Mi-Zo shot the campaign images. In the early days of Style Bubble when I didn't ramble on half as much as I do now, Mi-Zo got the thumbs up from me and it seems their work has just been revved up to a whole new super level. The composition, the styling, the angles created all cast such a favourable light over the shoes that it again prompted the search for more info on these Diego Dolcini creations for Scholl.
The search yielded results and of course an official site for the collaboration is up and running now and the full collection available to see online. The perspex wedges are still fascinating me but the clunky red wedges are also making me curious... with pale blue knee high socks and a silvery floaty dress...hmm...yes...yes...
No sign of them in the stark reality of shoe stores yet but staring at the images a few more times might just prompt me to do an embarrassing call to the Italian distributor and ask in poor Italian (by 'poor', I mean I only know music-related terms...thank you grade 8 music theory...) where can I find these shoes....?

love the weird poses!!! Hope the shoes are comfy.

Well I'll say I'm shocked. Certainly not the image I have of Scholl's. I will even overlook the fact that I'm incapable of wearing tapered wedges...The colors are great. I'm going through a big orange shoe phase right now. I've seen all these styles before so not hugely original. But I will say the strappy stilleto and the silver and orange wedges are quite nice. Not losing sleep over them though.

I actually saw the flat "peschura" kind in a store in Novara, Piedmont (Italy) but they only had that model.. I have been looking for them for quite a while now even in Milan but I couldn't find any info whatsoever.

I've always been intrigued by the Scholl sandals (I'm a sucker for a wood sandal!), and these are a brilliant collection. That perspex wedge really is great, and the basketweave on some of the flat sandals is clever too.

Fabulous layout! Very interesting concept. I went to the official website. These are very unique styles for Scholls. I wonder about the comfort, but they look great!

I love good old Doctor Scholls. I remember in the 90's when everyone was going mad for them, I had such a cute pair old blue Scholls which were cool and also massaged my feet! The photo shoot is great, loving the colour and the poses.

I have a soft spot for the brand since my mom wore them when I was a kid--and I'd steal them from her to clop around in.

They are awesome. Please let us know if you find them in a purchasable place. Australia even?

I'm pretty attracted to those, and I guess it's good I can't get my hands on them! Otherwise, I'd have half a dozen pairs.
