Links Warning!

  • The links list just grows and grows and it has got to the point where there are now too many links. Unfortunately, I am unable to add anymore as the page length is running out unless it's something exceptionally good. To free up space, I'll be cleaning up my links if the blog isn't updated in over a month or it's not updated that often, I shall be deleted links because the list is just... so... long isn't it?

Giddup there...

Ponystep1 So the Boombox maestro has launched Ponystep.com and I was gutted that I missed the launch party on Sunday...   Just as I predicted, the site conveys a different and unique point of view on the fashion talent in London and despite only being about two days old, there’s a fair few fashion features up already.  Some names are comfortingly familiar, others not so, which means I’ll have to add another URL to the favourites list...

I know Fleet Ilya’s work but not the name so it’s good that Ponystep have highlighted the man behind the sex-inspired leather totes, accessories, headgear and outfit ‘props’ that have graced the bods of Kylie Minogue and Roisin Murphy (is it a little insane that I’ve dreamt about emailing Roisin’s record company with a gushing list of designers that I think Roisin should pull in for a 40-outfit change gig and then going to the gig itself to witness the splendour...yes, I think so...).  I’ve thought about harnessing up several times if I found the right structure because over something floaty and soft, it’s a useful prop to have.  I think Fleet does a few different ranges that are available in shops or via private bespoke order, but a few of his pieces are available to buy online at Coco de Mer.  His later collections will be full of patent and brass, two things that of course get my vote so we’ll see whether there will be some Susie Bubble harness action going on...

i wanted the harness for so long but it cost like 200 over quid which i think is waaaaaaay ridiculous. :-( Any cheaper substitutes around?

Really amazing : I love whan fashion meets art like that !

"when" sorry...

been waiting for the site to launch. liking this quite a bit- shame about the cost.

This is so much cooler than a wide belt!

The first belt looks surprisngly easy to wear, on the side of fetish gear, but not overtly so.

God, that model is thin.

Not my thing, but interesting!

I love the bondagey feel of these... the harness is gorgeous. their snout masky thing too is intriguing. woe for my penniless pockets!

Crazy but interesting!

she is anorexic
she should be in hosptial not before a camera

i went, you missed nothing. it was terrible despite the copious free alcohol on offer. empty with no atmosphere.

Very...ummm...bondage?
Seriously tho' Susie, I totally loved the post with your own photo's where you wrote the tag labels. Your writing on the tags was poetic and very, very hip...but mainly poetic. I would love to see more posts like that from you. You have a talent with words that really came out on the tags. The tags were short...but special...dunno, I think there's something there. Keep up the fabulous work, you are simply lovely....and extremely talented.

Wacky!

Susie: Have you seen this great photo of you on Cafe Mode: http://blogs.lexpress.fr/cafe-mode/2008/04/sur_la_plage_de_hyeres.html

I immediately pictured these harnesses over a ridiculously pouffy dress, just holding it all down. Lovely.

i am a fan. a fan. a fan.

I don't like them. The model is so thin and a little bit ugly.

Love how the first one looks like such a continuation of the dress.

Hmm...mixed opinions...and yes, the model is skinny. A pity that the products have to be photographed this way...

great stuff! i have seen his other lines too, does amazing bags and belts.

i think rosilin murphy would be delighted to see your list...

these pics are insane! i'm just amazed how they fit so well around this model...

They look less clichéd "fetish" to me and more like antique medical devices - of course some people find *those* a turn-on too...

Little Miss UPS

  • **NOTE** From now until Jan 2008, I unfortunately will not be able to take any more Little Miss UPS orders as I quite literally have no time to run to the post office unless I hire a dogsbody to do it for me.... forgive me and I promise everything will be resumed come January!

Just to reiterate an earlier post I am now offering to purchase items from the UK to ship internationally for those of you that covet something Brit-tastic.  I can even, time permitting, buy stuff in-store in London depending on how specific you are with what you want.  Here's how it works:

    1) Pick/Choose what you want to buy - email me with the request.  I will check availability and work out shipping costs and tell you the grand total.

    2) You Paypal me the money first and then I will order/purchase the items requested.

    3) Once I receive the items, I will then ship to you straight away = happy days!

Here are some British-based sites that are iffy about shipping abroad:

Topshop Though they now ship to the USA! , ASOS, Dorothy Perkins, Kurt Geiger
