PIerre Hardy isn't yet a household name but with just over three seasons worth of bag collections, he's already made an iconic impression on me. The shapes and finishes may alter each season but that unmistakable edging that creates a striking graphic shape and that fat central tucked in strap - it just goes to show that it doesn't take a repeated pattern of logos or jingly jangly metal fixtures to make a bag memorable . I just hope Pierre Hardy follows the 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it.' saying because right now, £800 plus for a bag is a little *big gulp* for me. See what I did with the title of this post - with my House of Holland tshirt rhyme, perhaps Hardy will take pity on me and continue producing his bags with those icon-worthy qualities. If I continue to toil away at work like an Energiser battery-powered rabbit, a year or two will do!
