So after all the hype, all the hullabaloo and anticipation, by the time November knocked around, I wasn't all that enthusiastic about the Viktor and Rolf for H&M collection. Once the whole collection came up, I was underwhelmed to say the least. A little birdie tells me that apparently the collection was severely edited and pared down and that the original samples were a whole lot more 'couture-like' which would have peaked my interest a bit more. But today had to come and as a *ahem* dedicated slave to fashion events, I thought I'd go down to Oxford Circus to observe, record and photograph even if I wasn't going to buy anything. Some lovely bloggers from Shiny Media were also there and Gemma, the efficient girl that she is already had a video up by the afternoon! I was a bit more plodding with my footage, having no video editing skills to speak of. Anyhow, this pretty much sums up what I saw, heard and took in. I suppose the only thing I missed out was the huge bruise on my back from someone shoving me right into a shelf corner and the measly white shirt and tights I picked up. Nice.
