You know sometimes H&M can really surprise me with the stuff they have. I don't go too often because I find the Oxford Circus branch very messy and hectic. I also have to wade through the crap knitwear, stripy and polka dot tops to find the gems. Today I specifically went early to avoid the crowds and this waist coat made of tartan fabric flowers stuck out like a sore thumb. The way the flowers were made up reminded me of Dragana Perisic's fabric jewellery. As I approached the rail to pick it up, a girl in front of me said to her friend 'That is ugliest effing thing I've ever seen!' Clearly someone had been watching Mean Girls a little too closely.
Did that deter me? Nope! Chances are if it is a little fugly in popular opinion, I might avoid clothes-cloning someone on the street (am I the only one who gets peeved by that?). I might even buy another one so that I can attach it to a strapless black dress.

LOL i admire your opinions on things. :D

you are NOT the only person who gets peeved by that.....i can't wait until all of this retro stuff isn't in fashion anymore so i can just go back to being the weirdo who wears old clothes...like it used to be ;)

To be honest I rarely, if never, find any item of clothing ugly and unwearable. I feel that any item of clothing could look good with the right outfit - which obviously you will find when it comes to wearing this jacket.
