I never thought people would actually be bothered to take the time and put together their 'cogs' of style. Well it seems, you took my original lame little collage and came up with infinitely better cogs! Truly impressed I am!
Tricia of the wonderful Bits and Bobbins came up with some a beautiful cog collage full of colourful and and pretty things. Where I had basics and boring-ness (the nature of my cogs), Tricia had rainbow delight going on which makes me think if her 'cogs' are that amazing, the rest of her wardrobe must be incredible. She even added more cogs in a later post.
Music blogger Sarah of Patter Romany has also come up with a brilliant little cog sheet showing how musical influences can affect one's cogs. I share her love of ridiculously big headphones and old lady cardigans.
Michelle sent me her cogs which are all very chic items and I adore her perfect picks...wish I had such streamlined style!
Swing and A-line coats and jackets, draped jersey tops
Non stiletto high heels, wide waist cincher belts, skinny belts
Converse All Star, Sass & Bide skinny jeans, long pendant necklaces
Ankle boots, Balenciaga handbags, vintage jumpsuits, tea dresses for wearing over jeans
Erin from Scotland (formerly from Australia) sent me her rather accessories-heavy cog picks. This collage looks like a magpie dream!
Tailored/fitted jackets, vintage brooches, vintage necklaces, sequins
Pointy flats, pencil skirts, her fave bag combining sequins, velvet and embroidery, red nails
Lip gloss, shrugs, boot-leg jeans, Dolce & Gabanna Light Blue, long line vest tops
Long bead necklaces, interesting belt buckles, cinch/waist belts, cardigans
Vintage clutches, V-neck tops, Rimmel XTreme Volume Mascara, dangly earrings
And last but not least, Sonja of Divine Providence who claims her style is basic and very casual but her cogs seem to say otherwise. She lists graphic t-shirts, scarves, floral skirts, hoodies, red/pink shoes and Camper boots as her cogs.
Thanks to you guys for showing us your cogs! I may do more 'sharing pics' excercises like this in the future!
